This summer, in leu of TAG Burger Bar’s usual Burger of the Month, TAG Burger Bar will be teaming up with the James Beard Foundation for the #BlendedBurgerProject. Participating chefs are tasked with creating a delicious burger with a healthy twist – MUSHROOMS! Chef Troy Guard came up with something that packs all the flavor and satisfaction with less fat and less impact on our precious ecosystem. And to make a great thing better – a portion of the proceeds from each burger sold will be donated to Taste of the NFL! And it will be available through July 31, 2016!

Chef Troy Guard and his team kicked some piggy tail at Denver’s Cochon 555! The national multi-city event, which intends to raise awareness of heritage pigs by educating the influencers (ie chef’s and restauranteurs), was held at the Ritz Carlton on March 6th. After a fierce competition, Chef Troy was named Denver’s winner and the reigning ‘Prince of Porc.’ He will go on to compete in the Grand Cochon 555 event in Snowmass on June 18th, 2016 – buy tickets here for the big event!
